1. Introduction
Welcome to FollowerDM. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the FollowerDM platform, website, and associated services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using FollowerDM, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Platform Description
FollowerDM is a platform that allows creators to receive anonymous messages and questions from their audience. Creators can register for an account to generate a public profile link, which they can share on social media platforms (such as Instagram and TikTok). Fans can use these links to send text-based messages anonymously to the creator. The platform also offers features such as "Flash Drops" (time-limited Q&A events) and the ability to export received messages as shareable images.
3. User Conduct and Zero Tolerance Policy
FollowerDM is designed to foster a positive, fun, and safe environment. You agree that you will NOT use the Platform to:
- Send harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or hateful messages.
- Promote violence, illegal acts, or self-harm.
- Send explicit, pornographic, or highly offensive content.
- Attempt to bypass our automated moderation and filtering systems.
AI Moderation: We utilize advanced automated filters to detect and block toxic, abusive, or harmful messages ("Haters are blocked"). However, no system is perfect, and we do not guarantee that all objectionable content will be filtered.
4. Anonymity and Law Enforcement
When a fan sends a message, their identity (e.g., name, exact location) is not disclosed to the creator. The core appeal of FollowerDM is anonymity. However, anonymity is not absolute immunity.
FollowerDM securely logs necessary technical metadata (such as IP addresses and browser fingerprints) to enforce rate limits and ban abusive users. If a message contains credible threats of violence, illegal activity, or severe harassment, FollowerDM reserves the right to, and will, cooperate fully with valid law enforcement requests and subpoenas to disclose the sender's metadata.
5. Account Registration and Security
Creators must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. FollowerDM relies on secure third-party authentication (e.g., Supabase). You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content: Creators retain all ownership rights to the content they generate, including replies and exported images shared on their social media. By using the Platform, you grant FollowerDM a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process your content to operate the service.
Platform Content: FollowerDM retains all rights to the Platform's code, design, logos, and proprietary features. You may not reverse engineer or copy the Platform's intellectual property.
7. Termination and Banning
FollowerDM reserves the right to suspend or terminate any creator account, or block any fan IP address, at any time and for any reason, particularly in cases of abuse, harassment, or violation of these Terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. FollowerDM does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for the content of the anonymous messages you receive.
